The Terapeak
alternative.
eBay's research tool no longer shows total sold, total sales, export, seller names or a title builder. SoldPeak does, on real completed listings, with history back to July 2026.

What happened to Terapeak
Terapeak, 2004–2024
eBay kept the chart and took away the answers.
Terapeak sold to eBay in 2017, moved into Seller Hub, and lost its name in May 2024. A month later the Total Sold and Total Sales figures disappeared from the summary. The tool that remains has no export, no API, anonymized sellers, no title builder, sell-through only over 90 days, and daily limits it does not publish. The table below compares the three, feature by feature.

The research suite
Built for sellers
The whole research suite, in one place
Nine reports from real completed listings, each one a tab or a page in the dashboard.
Product research
Average and median sold price, the middle-half range, total sold, total sales, average shipping, free-shipping and best-offer rates.
Trends by day, week or month
Items sold and average price per day, week or month. See a price slide after a new release, or the week a card spiked.
Competitor research
Who sells this, by username: their share, volume, average price, revenue, feedback and lifetime sales. Plus the item specifics buyers actually bought.
Title builder
Every word that appeared in sold titles, how often, and what those listings fetched against the average. Compose an 80-character title that carries the words that sold.
Best time to sell
Sales by day of week and hour of day, marketplace-local, so you end auctions and publish listings when buyers are buying.
Bulk research

Category research
Browse eBay's full category tree, research inside any category, and see which categories a product's sales really land in.
Sold listings, with detail
Every sale in a sortable table with a link to the listing. Open one for the photos, specifics, description, seller and that listing's sales history.
Saved searches, export, API

FAQ

Fundamentally, yes. In May 2024 eBay renamed it "Product Research" inside Seller Hub, and in June 2024 it removed the Total Sold and Total Sales figures from the summary. What remains has no export, no API, no seller names, no title builder, no best-time-to-list analysis, and sell-through only over 90 days, with undocumented daily limits. SoldPeak includes them.
From real completed eBay listings, collected from publicly available listing pages and updated through the day. Every sale carries its final price, shipping, date, condition, format and location. Personal researches the last 90 days, Free the last 30, and Professional every sale since July 2026.
Yes. Every search counts every recorded sale in the window you ask for, as far back as your plan reaches: total sold, total sales, the averages and percentiles, the trend, conditions, categories, title words and timing all come from the whole set. The listings table, formats, locations, shipping and sellers are read from the most recent sales (up to 10,000), and the report says so when that is fewer than the total.
eBay.com (USD) and eBay.co.uk (GBP) today, each in its own currency, never converted. More sites are planned.
Yes. Free accounts get 5 searches a day over the last 30 days on eBay.com, with the summary, trend, breakdowns, title builder and best-time-to-sell, no card required. Paid plans add the UK, export, listing details, competitor research, bulk research and the API.
Yes, and it is published: Free 5 searches a day, Personal 100, Professional 500, resetting at midnight UTC. Searches that find nothing, or fail, never count, and repeating one within six hours is free, up to 20 times. Plans are flat-rate; the limit is what keeps that possible.
